USA Trip for NADA and Fletcher Jones

Mercedes-Benz North Shore visits Los Angeles
As a leading Mercedes-Benz dealership, we regularly review our practices and strive to push our performance to the next level. This is a process that effectively has no finish line. Even when performing at such a high level, we never rest on our laurels, always looking for new ways to improve our services and wow our guests.
Part of meeting this goal means researching new products and tools as well as learning from other dealerships; seeing what works - and what doesn't work - for them and how we can introduce that to our business in a way that best suits our own guests.
For this reason, earlier this year our General Manager, Craig Innes, took some of our department managers on a trip to the USA to attend the annual NADA (National Automotive Dealers Association) Convention & Expo. This convention, held this year in Las Vegas, is attended by 25,000 dealers and their managers, auto industry executives, and various other professionals from over 30 countries.
At the convention, we experienced a wide range of new products, tools, and techniques being used by other successful dealerships around the world, regardless of brand, and attended a number of workshops to learn more about how we can improve our business.
Following the event, many dealers head home but our team stayed a little longer to visit America's most successful Mercedes-Benz centre; Fletcher Jones Motorcars, Los Angeles. At Fletcher Jones we were treated to a personal tour of the dealership and service centre, learning exactly how incredibly well looked after the dealership's VIPs are and experiencing some of the dealership's inner-workings with an exclusive behind-the-scenes demonstration.
Back in New Zealand, we're excited about putting some of the things that we've learnt into place, complementing our own unique methods and culture to provide our guests with an experience like no other.
