Meet our Certified Service Advisor, Jahna Batt

Mercedes-Benz North Shore team member Jahna was recently awarded the prestigious Mercedes-Benz Service Advisor of the Year title, showing her knowledge, hard work and dedication to her role. Jahna took some time out of her busy day to answer a few questions.

What do you enjoy the most working at Mercedes-Benz North Shore?
This is really hard to answer because I enjoy so much! I love the beautiful cars I get to look at each and every day. I adore all of our amazing sales, parts and service team that I get to see and bounce ideas off. Our customers are second to none and I cherish all of the time I have with each and every one! Behind the scenes there is so much training that is involved and I am lucky enough to have been involved in something that helps me not only in 'Mercedes Benz life' but real life situations too.

You can have one Mercedes-Benz for the rest of your life. What would it be?
Definitely a G63. I find them beautiful and perfectly matched for my height.

If you had to describe yourself in a few words, what would they be?
Friendly, ambitious and personable!

What are your interests and hobbies?
I do acting as a hobby so have been in a few films, commercials and some theatre work! I've done it since I was small - it’s a form of expression for me, I don’t think I would be the same without it. I’m actually really lucky, management here support me by letting me go to auditions when I have them which are always in the weekdays and usually at short notice! I also love spending time at the gym, going out with friends and being with my partner, family and my dog Pax.

Favourite TV Show to binge watch?
I have a lot but right now is Revenge, You and I have to say I could watch (old school) CSI for days.

Favourite film?
I think 12 Years a Slave was extraordinary and very moving.

What are you most looking forward to this year?
I must admit I was really looking forward to heading to the States (a trip to San Fran was my award for winning Service Advisor of the Year) BUT am heading to Queenstown in July so couldn’t be more excited!

What are you listening to when you drive?
I listen to a lot of podcasts but on Fridays I don’t mind a bit of funky house tunes to get me in the zone for the end of the week!

Thanks for your time, Jahna!
